Asst. Prof. of Practice Dr. Burçak Altay, Acting Chair of the Department of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design, participated in the 2026 “Belonging” Conference, held at Harvard University, Cambridge, Massachusetts, on September 24–26, 2026.
Her presentation, “Exploring Sense of Belonging through Contemplative Architectural Experience,” examined how natural and built environments can support contemplative experiences, encourage interconnectedness, and cultivate a sense of belonging through inclusive and multisensory architectural experiences.
We congratulate Asst. Prof. of Practice Dr. Altay on her contribution!
