IAED Researchers to Present at CII 2026 Symposium

MFA and PhD researchers from Bilkent IAED will present two papers at the Current Issues in Interiors (CII) 2026 Symposium, to be held on 15–17 April 2026 at Yaşar University, İzmir.

The symposium addresses interdisciplinary perspectives on interior architecture through three thematic tracks: Adaptive Reuse; Design, Culture, Environment and Behavior, and Environmental Systems and Technology.

The two presentations will take place on April 16, 2026.

  • Raha Amirabadi: Tracing the City Within: Morphological Narratives in Adaptive Reuse Interior Design (Track 1: Adaptive Reuse for Interiors)
  • Ayşe Mina Selçuk Yılmaz, Didem Zengin, Samira Asadmosaffar, Burçak Altay (Head of the Department): Investigating User Experience in Public Space with Respect to Cultural Heritage: A Case Study on Erimtan Archaeological Museum (Track 2: Design, Culture, Environment, and Behavior)
